How to Check Whether a DgoBuy Product Link Is Still Useful

A link can still open and still be wrong for the record you meant to research. Pages change, products are replaced and option lists are edited. Link freshness is a product-identity question, not just an HTTP status.

A working page is only the first check

If the destination loads, compare the product type, main image and one distinctive feature with the record you selected. A title rewrite or reordered gallery may be harmless. A different object, accessory or deposit is not.

Check the option list for substitution

Sometimes the main product remains visible while the original color, size or package disappears. Confirm that the option you researched is still selectable and that its price and images still belong to it.

Recognize three useful outcomes

  • Current match: the product and intended option still align.
  • Partial match: the product remains but an important option or field changed.
  • Mismatch: the page now represents another product or incomplete item.

Do not repair a stale link with a guessed destination

A visually similar search result is a new candidate, not automatically the original listing. Add it to the shortlist and compare it on its own evidence.

Return to the category when the record is gone

Use the internal DgoBuy Spreadsheet category hub to reopen the product pool. Search with the object and one distinctive feature, then evaluate the replacement as a new record.
